Fernando Hasenberg began his career in CMPC in 2000, where he served in the finance division in Chile, Mexico, and Brazil. He has participated in the acquisition of the Guaíba plant in Brazil and other relevant M&A transactions. In 2019 he turned CEO of the Sack Kraft business where he led the acquisition of Samcarsa in Mexico and Iguaçu in Brazil. In January 2022 he was appointed CGO of the company where he is responsible for corporate finance, accounting, internal reporting, investor relations, insurances and procurement. He holds a Commercial Engineering degree and a MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is married, father of four children, and enjoys playing golf and skiing.
