Francisco Gomes Neto has been president and CEO of Embraer since May 2019, leading a global team responsible for the company’s recent turnaround and delivering sustainable growth with market value for the business.

He brings 30 years of CEO experience leading companies in the transportation sector in Brazil and overseas. Prior to Embraer, he led the Marcopolo Group, one of the world's leading bus manufacturers. Gomes Neto was also the CEO Americas of Mann+Hummel and President of Knorr Bremse Brasil, a leading company in rail and commercial vehicles control systems.

In 2024, Gomes Neto was chair of the B20 Trade & Investment task force, focusing on enhancing global trade and investment. This group of global business leaders provided expertise, insights, and recommendations to support G20 countries in negotiations to create more trade and investment opportunities on a global scale. Gomes Neto holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Business Administration, as well as an MBA in Finance and Control.
